just wondering, because if they send radio signals, and satellite phones run on radio signals too. . . then if you have enough bats, can they prevent the signal from reaching the satellite?

Are satellite phones worth and does anyone have one. My husband is being shipped to Iraq. I would like to be in contact with him. So anyone in the military who has one or used one while they were station over there I would like to hear from.

My family live in a country where the regular service is too expensive. Per consequence, I can’t call so often. Does anybody knows about satellite phones, service, affordable way to buy them, etc. All the information would be appreciated. Thanks.

3. quality of calls (choppy, unclear, etc. )
4. quality of signal (gets connected easily, don’t have to go outside your room just to get a signal, etc. )

I ran out of satellite phones in bangkok in the commandant episode. . . but the problem is I already got through the pirate level, and now the level that gave me the phones isn’t there anymore. I only have three choices. Where can I get satellite phones?

I am moving to an are with no cable or phone land lines, I plan on getting satellite cable and internet but satellite phones are expensive and unreliable. I am looking into getting an internet phone with my satellite internet, will this work and can anyone recommend an internet phone site?

My friend is in the army and has a terrible phone right now that is constantly cutting out on him, bag signal, etc. etc. and he asked me to look into satellite phones for him. He’s coming home to Arizona for leave next week and doesn’t really know much about where to look for one, and I have no idea either, so I thought you lovely people might enlighten me, forward some links to where he can purchase a reputable satellite phone.
