What are my high speed internet options without a phone line, and without cable, and no satellite?

I am looking for a DSL, like a Road Runner, but cheaper, is that possible? I don’t want cable, or a phone, all that I have is a cell phone, and I am not allowed to have satellite. Have you heard of anything good or bad about NetZero HiSpeed 3G? It’s claiming to be high speed dial up, but I would prefer something like Road Runner but cheaper.

Ok, first of all, road runner is for cable and netzero high speed is for dial-up on a phone line. So considering you don’t have cable or a phone line, niether will work.
Your only options without those is power or cellular. In very few places you can find power companies that are providing high speed internet along the power lines, so that’s one possibility.
The only other option is to get your access through cellular providers. Either by getting a phone that can be used as a modem, or by getting a piece of hardware for your system that connects you through the cell towers. I’ve never seen one of these for a desktop but I do know they have them for laptops.

Most telephone companies should allow to you use DSL without paying for phone service. The same thing goes for cable companies (Such as time warner with road runner) who will allow you to use there internet services without subscribing to cable. I have not heard much about NetZero’s HiSpeed G, but I would recommend using DSL if you have phone access to your house, and as I said, you should be able to receive internet services without subscribing to their phone services. You should check with your local telephone company to see if they offer DSL in your area. I have been using DSL for many years and have been very satisfied.
Also, keep in mind that the speed with DSL is very comparable to the speeds of cable, and sometimes even faster depending on the plan you choose.
Yahoo DSL – $14.99 month
Verison DSL – $12.99 month
Earthlink DSL – $12.95 (first 3 months)
Sometimes your local telephone company will have better deals.
Home this helps.
