Is there such a thing as a satellite blackberry type phone?

I plan on travelling worldwide within a few years and need to be able to access emails and make calls so I’m interested in a blackberry or Motorola MOTO Q type phone but was wondering if you can use these types of phones with a satellite service?

No. You need a special phone designed for use with satellite service, and the blackberry is not one of them.
You’ll have to check with a satellite service provider.
